JOHN JEFKINS - PRESIDENT
Senior Executive, Corporate/Non-Profit/Association Leader with experience in full time and consulting financial services (CIBC), telecommunications (Bell Mobility), non-profit (Heart & Stroke, Foster Parents Plan. Arthritis). Currently John is the Vice President Member of Engagement & Corporate Partnerships at Electro-Federation Canada, an electrical association across Canada leading programs such as Habitat for Humanity and the EFC Scholarship Foundation.
BRUCE DAY - VICE PRESIDENT
Bruce Day is a lawyer and mediator with 38 years of experience in civil litigation and has appeared in every level of the courts in Ontario. Bruce’s involvement with the Haven includes being on the executive committee of Hope With Wheels, part of the managing committee for the Haven’s annual golf tournament, and a route marshal on the Haven’s “Coldest Night of the Year” event. He was also counsel to a non-profit single parents organization.
CINTIA DE AGUIAR - SECRETARY
Cintia is a Registered Real Estate Broker with more than 20 years of experience and principal owner and founder of Cintia De Aguiar Group. She is dedicated to making people’s dreams of owning their own home come true. Cintia has sponsored the Haven’s TCO concert for the past three years, is a sponsor at our annual golf tournament and works tirelessly to provide the Haven families with a wonderful Christmas each year.
JOHN KAZEK - TREASURER
John Kazek is a Chartered Professional Accountant with 30 years of experience in the insurance industry. His previous board experience was with a not-for-profit industry association and several local community-based groups. John’s involvement with the Haven has been with the “Coldest Night of the Year” event.
INA GOODHART - MEMBER AT LARGE
Ina is a Commercial Mortgage Administrator with Sun Life Financial. She has certificates in Business Management & General Bible Education. Ina is passionate about meeting the needs of the less fortunate in the community.
